Concord California

The city of Concord California is located within a 31 mile drive to San Francisco.  Located in Contra Costa County, Concord is the largest city in the county.  Some of the more popular attractions in Concord are the Sun Valley Mall, Six Flags Waterworld and the Todos Santos Plaza which offers a great farmers market, movie theater and lots of restaurants.  Public parking is available within walking distance of the Todos Santos Plaza.  The Contra Costa Times is the local newspaper that services all of Contra Costa County.  There are many technology and financial businesses located in Concord and the city is surrounded by the high end suburbs of Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek.  Because of the wide range of business, shopping and tourism attractions there are many great hotels to choose from when visiting Concord.

In addition to it's close proximity to San Francisco, Concord is an easy drive to other great attractions like the various wineries and shopping in the Sonoma and Napa Valley regions.

Some of the larger employers in Concord are Bank Of America, Sun Valley Mall, the various Concord hotels and Fry's Electronics.  There are also many other car dealers, furniture stores and other businesses.
