Chinese Heparin

Perhaps you've seen the new commercials about the Chinese Heparin lawsuit that is going on.  The other day the United States stopped two Chinese cargo ships with contaminated Heparin from China.  Lucky for the citizens of the United States no contaminated Chinese Heparin actually made it into the hands of patients.

Heparin is a popular blood thinner which is known to have side effects including death.  However Heparin which is contaminated from China exacerbates these effects negating all the helpful benefits Heparin has produced over the years.
